HUBUNGAN DUKUNGAN SOSIAL DENGAN PEMANFAATAN POSYANDU LANSIA DI DESA BANYUARANG DUSUN BANYU ARANG KECAMATAN NGORO KABUPATEN JOMBANG

ABSTRAK

Pendahuluan : Lansia mengalami proses menua dan timbul berbagai masalah fisik, penurunan fungsi organ tubuh, dan psikologis. Faktor tersebut yang menjadi keluarga mendukung lansia untuk datang ke posyandu karena dianggap sebagai beban keluarga dan masyarakat sekitarnya, akan tetapi posyandu lansia kurang menarik minat lansia untuk menghadirinya. Hal ini dapat berdampak buruk terhadap kesehatan lansia. Tujuan penelitian mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial dengan pemanfaatan posyandu lansia di Desa Banyuarang Dusun Banyuarang Kecamatan Ngoro Kabupaten Jombang. Metode : Desain penelitian analitik korelasional dengan pendekatan retropective . Populasi semua lansia yang mempunyai keluarga sejumlah 119 orang dengan sejumlah sampel 36 orang sesuai dengan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner. Data dianalisis dengan uji statistik mann whitney dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil Hasil penelitian sebagian besar (66,7%) dukungan keluarga responden adalah positif sebanyak 24 orang dan sebagian besar (52,8%)  pemanfaatan posyandu lansia adalah baik sebanyak 19 orang. Hasil uji mann whitney a 0,05 menunjukkan hasil perhitungan p value = 0,001<0,05 artinya ada hubungan dukungan sosial dengan pemanfaatan posyandu lansia. Kesimpulan : Bagi lansia pemberian informasi oleh tenaga kesehatan pada keluarga yang memiliki lansia sangat dibutuhkan, supaya mereka selalu memberikan dukungan yang positif dan motivasi pada lansia dalam pelaksanaan dan kegiatan posyandu untuk memanfaatkan posyandu dengan baik.

ABSTRACT

Background : Elderly people experience aging process  and arise various physical problems, decrease organ function, and psychological. Factors mentioned  that become family to support the elderly people to come to posyandu because it is considered as the burden of family and  surrounding community, but posyandu for  elderly people  is less  interesting  for elderly people  to attend it. This case can have a negative impact on the health of elderly people . This research aimed  to determine  the correlation  of social support with the utilization of posyandu for elderly people at Banyuarang Sub Village , Banyuarang  Village ,Ngoro Sub district , In Jombang District. Methods : The design of research was correlation analytic with retrospective approach. The population was all elderly people who had  families as many as 119 people with  the total of  samples was 36 people according to simple random sampling technique. Data collection used questionnaires. Data was analyzed by mann whitney statistic test with significant level 0,05. Results .The results of research  showed  that Most of the research (66,7%) respondent's family support was positive as many as 24 people and the most (52,8%) Of  posyandu for elderly people utilization was good as many as  19 people. The results  of Mann whitney  test ,α  0.05 showed  the count result  of   ρ value = 0.001 <0.05 meant that  there was  a correlation  of social support with the utilization of posyandu for elderly people.Conclusion :For the elderly people ,providing information from health workers to families who have elderly people is urgently needed, in order that they always provide positive support and motivation to elderly people in the implementation and activities of  posyandu to take advantage of posyandu well.
