ASUHAN KEPERAWATAN KELUARGA PADAANAK STUNTING DENGAN MASALAH KEPERAWATAN DEFISIT PENGETAHUAN DI DESA PUTON DIWEK

Stunting is a growth development disorder experienced by toddlers suffering from malnutrition. Stunting can be a serious threat to the quality of Indonesia's human resources. It is essential for families with stunted children to have good knowledge in providing care. The purpose of this study was to analyze Family Nursing Care for stunted children with knowledge deficit nursing problems in Puton Village Diwek. This study used a case study method consisting of assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The study was conducted in the working area of Cukir Health Center for 6 visits within 2 weeks. The subjects of this case study were 2 families with stunted children with knowledge deficit nursing problems the provision of health education in Puton Village, Diwek. Data collection methods: interviews, observation, documentation. Before the intervention, it was found that 2 families did not know about stunting, as evidenced by the pretest scores of family knowledge 1 being 50 out of 100 in the poor category and the pretest score of family 2 being 40 out of 100 in the poor category. After the intervention for 6 x 24 hours for 30-60 minutes, the results showed that the family nursing problem of knowledge deficit was resolved with the results of Family 1 being able to understand and know about stunting well and correctly with a post-test score of 100 in the excellent category, while Family 2 was able to understand about stunting well and correctly with a post-test score of 90 in the excellent category. It is expected that families can maintain and practice proper care for stunted children and provide full support for the participant's success. It is expected that future researchers can conduct research on stunting through other intervention focuses.
