Defisit pengetahuan merupakan kurangnya pengetahuan pada suatu masalah. Tujuan dari peneliti ini ialah melakukan asuhan keperawatan keluarga dengan masalah defisit pengetahuan dengan edukasi kesehatan pada penderita TB Paru. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kasus kepada 2 keluarga yang menderita tubercolosis paru dengan deficit pengetahuan di desaputon, selama 2 minggu dengan 6 kali kunjungan pada 13 – 25 April 2023, dengan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan keluarga pada penderita TB paru dengan pengumpulan data, analisa data uji keabsahan dilakukan dengan memperpanjang waktu pengamatan, penelitian, tindakan, menggali informasi, dan hasil penelitian dapat dibuktikan kebenarannya. data dikumpulkan dari hasil wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi (WOD). Hasil penelitian didapatkan perubahan peningkatan pengetahuan, dibuktikan dengan partisipan mampu menjawab tentang pengetahuan tuberculosis paru, hasil nilai quisioner meningkat dari 55 menjadi 80, keluarga juga sudah tidak menanyakan masalah TB Paru dan sudah mengetahui perawatan terutama pada diet tinggi kalori dan tinggi protein serta memodifikasi lingkungan rumah. Sedangkan pada keluarga 2 terdapat perbedaan yaitu pada nilai quisionerdari 60 menjadi 90. Keluarga sudah tidak menanyakan penyebab TB Paru dan tidak menganggap bahwa TB Paru merupkan penyakit keturunan. Masalah defisit pengetahuan teratasi dengan dilakukan penatalaksanaan edukasi kesehatan pada keluarga tentang perawatan pada penderita tuberculosis paru, pencegahan dan penularan serta pengawasan OAT dan kepatuhan minum obat.
