Apabila nyeri tidak segera diatasi akan menimbulkan gangguan pengeluaran ASI, pola istirahat, dan gangguan mobilisasi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah memberikan asuhan keperawatan ibu post sectio caesarea dengan masalah nyeri akut. Metode: Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dalam bentuk studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi, uji keabsahan dengan triangulasi, dan analisa data dengan pengolahan data secara diskriptif. Penelitian dilakukan di Paviliun Melati RSUD Jombang pada tanggal 27 Juni 2018 sampai dengan 04 Juli 2018. Partisipan berjumlah dua pasien, pasien 1 berusia 21 tahun dan pasien 2 berusia 28 tahun, dengan masalah keperawatan sama yaitu nyeri akut. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukan intensitas skala nyeri sebelum dilakukan intervensi yaitu pasien 1 dan pasien 2 sama dengan skala nyeri 6, dan saat dilakukan intervensi selama 3x24 jam kedua responden didapatkan nyeri teratasi yaitu pada kasus 1 hasil skala nyeri turun menjadi 3 dan dapat melakukan mobilisasi secara bertahap, pada kasus 2 didapatkan hasil skala nyeri menjadi 1 dan dapat melakukan mobilisasi secara bertahap. Pembahasan: Kerjasama antar tim kesehatan atau pasien dan keluarga sangat diperlukan untuk keberhasilan asuhan keperawatan pada pasien. Komunikasi terapeutik dapat mendorong pasien lebih kooperatif, sehingga masalah keperawatan pasien mengenai nyeri akut dapat dilaksanakan sesuai intervensi dengan baik dan sebagian masalah dapat teratasi.
