PENGARUH PREOPERATIVE TEACHING TERHADAP TINGKAT KECEMASAN PADA PASIEN PREOPERASI TRANSURETHRAL RESECTION OF THE PROSTATE (TURP) DI INSTALASI BEDAH SENTRAL RSUD JOMBANG

ABSTRAK

Kecemasan pra operatif seringkali dikaitkan dengan pemahaman-pemahaman yang salah tentang tindakan pembedahan atau keterbatasan informasi tentang kejadian yang akan dialami pasien sebelum, selama bahkan setelah prosedur operas.Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh preoperative teaching terhadap kecemasan pada pasien preoperasi Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP).Jenis penelitian ini Pre Eksperimental yang menggunakan desain One Group Pra –Post test. Populasi dalam penelitian 18 responden dipilih dengan total sampling. Variabel independen adalah preoperative teaching, variabel dependen tingkat kecemasan.Tingkat kecemasan pada responden sebelum diberikan preoperative teaching adalah tingkat kecemasan sedang (55.6%). Setelah diberikan preoperative teaching didapatkan hasil (50%) responden tingkat kecemasan ringan. Analisa data menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test dengan nilai signifikan p= 0,001 < 0,05 bahwa ada pengaruh preoperative teaching terhadap kecemasan pada pasien preoperasi Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP).Hasil penelitian ini sebagai informasi dan pengetahuan bagi peneliti tentang intervensi pada asuhan keperawatan pada pasien yang akan dilakukan tindakan medis pre operatif yang mengalami kecemasan, yang secara teori salah satu metode penangannya dapat diberikan Preoperative teaching tentang tindakan medis yang akan dilakukan.

 

ABSTRACT

Preoperative anxiety is often associated with misconceptions about surgery or limited information about the event that the patient will experience before, during even after the surgical procedure. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of preoperative teaching on anxiety in patients preoperative Transurethral Resection of the prostate (TURP. This type of research is Pre Experimental using One Group Pre Post test design. The population in the study were 18 respondents. A sample of 18 respondents selected by total sampling. The independent variable is preoperative teaching, dependent variable of the level of anxiety. Level of moderate anxiety in the respondent before given preoperative teaching (55,6%). After given preoperative teaching, the result (50%) of the respondents become mild anxiety level. Data analysis using Wicoxon Signed Rank test with significant value p = 0,001 <0.005 that there is influence preoperative teaching to anxiety in patient of preoperative Transurethral Resection of the Prostate (TURP. The results of this study as information and knowledge for researchers about the intervention in nursing care in patients who will perform preoperative medical action that experienced anxiety, which in theory one of the methods of handling can be given Preoperative teaching about the medical action to be performed.
